This slideshow was developed by a group of Canadian moms who wanted to spread the message of support and hope to women who may be experiencing postpartum depression or other postpartum mental health difficulties. The video is a slideshow of pictures taken by real moms who have lived through postpartum mental health challenges and include their messages. It is very much worth a watch – with a box of tissues.

MORE INFORMATION

This questionnaire is used widely as a screening for postpartum depression. When completing the screen, you are thinking about your mental health over the past 7 days. This screening will also calculate your score – which tells you if minor or major depression may be present. This screening is only a guide to help you make decisions about your mental health and does not provide diagnosis. Following up with your doctor, nurse practitioner or other health care provider is important if you have concerns about your mental health.
